Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects that improve operational performance, reduce cost, and support strategic growth in a precision engineering environment serving customers in industries including medical device and aerospace.
The role spans operations, digitalisation, facilities development, and customer-facing projects, ensuring structured delivery of initiatives that enhance both internal performance and external customer experience.
This role is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, meeting stringent regulatory, safety, and quality standards. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects in a timely, compliant, and innovative manner, while maintaining full traceability and risk control and always mindful of lean methodologies and striving for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities & Duties
Lead end-to-end delivery of operational, strategic, and customer-facing projects.
Define scope, milestones, timelines, and success metrics.
Apply structured methodologies. (A3, PDCA, 7-Step problem solving)
Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations.
Maintain project governance, including risk management.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource planning with a focus on cost control and delivery certainty.
Identify and mitigate risks related to manufacturing processes and supply chain.
Interface with customers, during project reviews.
Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality or compliance issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Person/Skills Required
5+ years in manufacturing.
Proven delivery of cross-functional projects.
Experience in:
Operational improvement.
Facilities or infrastructure projects. (desirable)
Customer-facing project work. (highly desirable)
Experience in regulated industries (medical, aerospace, or similar) preferred.
Experience managing product development lifecycles.
Familiarity with high-precision manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, finishing, advanced materials) is desirable.
Strong financial, scheduling, and resource management capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent.
Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma are highly desirable.
Advanced Excel. (essential)
Strong data analysis capability.
Familiarity with:
