Overview
Join Bellurgan Precision Engineering as a Machine Operative within our CNC Machining team and play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality precision components.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing. You’ll support production across CNC machining, finishing, and inspection, working with modern equipment in a clean, organised environment.
Full training is provided, with clear progression pathways for those who show initiative, reliability, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities & Duties
Select program and load to machine
Setting of cutting tools, speeds and feeds to job package specification
Achieving competitive cycle times and production targets
Ensure quality standards of products manufactured are met through quality inspection & measurement of parts
Machine and tooling preventive maintenance plans
Technical troubleshoot machine and process
Tooling and Material re ordering
Participate in continuous improvement
Maintain cleanliness of machine and surrounding area
Keep supervisor and/or QC informed of any issues
Maintain health and safety standards for the area
Any other duties as reasonably required
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant manufacturing experience in CNC Turning Operations
Experience of shift work
Person/Skills Required
Good verbal reasoning, numerate ability and mechanical aptitude skills
Knowledge of and ability to understand technical drawings
Excellent communication skills
Good knowledge and understanding of computers
