October 2022: Bellurgan Precision Engineering win Business Of The Year Category

A record crowd attended the Louth Business Awards organized by Dundalk Chamber of Commerce in the Carrickdale Hotel on Saturday the 22nd October. The annual event is now a high light in the social calendar in Dundalk with over 630 guests in attendance. There were a record number of entries for the awards in what was a tough competition.

There were plenty of celebrations when Bellurgan Precision Engineering was announced as the winner of Business Of The Year by Darren McCarthy from category Sponsor VHI. Our General Manager, Paul Kelly, was delighted to be presented with the award on behalf of the Bellurgan Precision Engineering team.

We are delighted to announce that Bellurgan Precision Engineering have received an award from our renowned customer and partner Medtronic for "partnering to engineer the extraordinary" at a recent supplier symposium held in the USA. The award was recognition for Bellurgan Precision Engineering's support on a number of key supply chain strategies in response to the Global Pandemic.

Our General Manager Paul Kelly (above centre) was delighted to collect this award for Team Bellurgan. We are really proud of our 20+ year relationship with Medtronic and we are really excited about the next 20 !

It was two years like no other, presenting challenges that demanded tough decision making along the way. The Bellurgan Precision Team stepped forward to help in the fight against Covid 19 and it is very rewarding to see innovation and leadership acknowledged by one of the largest Medtec companies in the world.

The Irish Medtech Association, Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland announced the finalists for the Irish Medtech Awards: November 2020

In what has been a challenging year, the team at Bellurgan Precision Engineering were delighted to be nominated for the Medtech Partner/Supplier Award at the 2020 Irish Medtech Association Awards. The team at Bellurgan have been working throughout the Covid19 Pandemic and contributed immensely in helping to tackle the global shortage of acute care ventilators.

Bellurgan win Lifetime Award, 20th Oct 2018

The Dundalk Chamber of Commerce Annual Gala dinner took place on Saturday night 20th October. The highlight of the evening was the Louth Business Awards ceremony for 2018. Bellurgan are delighted to be Awarded another top spot and this time as the Winner of the Lifetime Award for Contribution to County Louth. Bernard Carroll along with his late wife Ann Carroll established Bellurgan Precision Engineering 40 years ago.

 


Medtronic recognise Bellurgan Precision with Top 12 Supplier Award: November 2017

In November, Bellurgan Precision were invited by Medtronic to their Operational HQ in Minneapolis, Minnesota to attend a Top 100 Global Supplier Recognition Conference. At the event, attended by 103 companies and nearly 400 people, Medtronic recognised  12 of those companies with a Supplier Excellence Award and Bellurgan Precision was thrilled to be recognised as one of those 12 companies.

ERDF Capital Investment Initiative

Project Description: Capital Equipment in this company is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Enterprise Ireland under the Border, Midland and Western Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020.

Aims: To purchase new capital equipment that will contribute to the achievements of Bellurgan's overall business strategy by enabling the company to produce newly developed products on a larger scale and to take on new business

Results: Bellurgan has secured new business in the Medical Technology and Aerospace sectors as a result of increased capability and capacity.
