Role: Material Handler

Reporting to: Procurement Manager

Responsibilities & Duties

• Operate all material handling equipment in a safe manner and maintain a high level of housekeeping at all times
• Keep up to date with the priorities of the Production Schedule, ensure that raw materials and components are available to production when needed, so as not to inhibit the production schedule
• Preparation of raw materials and production supplies from stores
• Maintain stocks of these in the raw material staging area
• Chamfer materials as required, referencing the specific requirements for the material being produced
• Complete all associated documentation as required
• Highlight any potential quality problem to the quality department and logistics supervisor (i.e. wrong labels or damaged stock)
• Maintain the warehouse with safety foremost in mind
• Any other duties as reasonably required
Qualifications & Experience (Desirable)

• Relevant manufacturing experience
Person/Skills Required

• Good communication & numeracy skills
• Excellent attention to detail
